YES, The I-134 Affidavit of Support is needed to be brought to the consulate, not sent to USCIS, it was not specified in the I-129F instructions and may have been discarded by the USCIS.

You need it in hand for the interview.

Also it is recommended that both the Sponsor (the US Citizen Fiance(e)) and co-sponsor provide one for the interview.

1 to 3 years returns are recommend the most recent one is the most important one to have attached.

The Affidavit is considered to be good for 1 year, but they can request that it has the most recent tax return (2006) so if the one that was sent to USCIS in error had only 2005 return you may want to get a new one done.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You do need your parents to fill out the I-134 and you also, then send it to your fiance in Peru to bring with her to the interview, notarized.

Also I was one of those who the did request my last 2 years of taxes before they would grant the visa. So i would suggest sending that.

Also go into the tab that says Guides and then click on the K1 visa

and it tells what you need after the NOA2

also go into the the embassy section on peru

and read what you need

that is what i did, and it worked for me

beside the tax forms

thanks  Now I have another question. I am a student, I have no income, but I do have some assets. I file my taxes with my parents, and I am clearly listed as their dependant on the tax returns. My mom just had her tax attorney send her her returns for the last 3 years, but he emailed them to her. Would I be better off printing from the IRS page, or are these copies going to suffice? Also, they need to be notarized? Can you notarize a copy? SOOOO lost... :help:
