I have a few questions per bullet items below (shown as numeric values) that came with the AOS interview directions as I put this together today please:

1. a completed medical examination (form i-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted).

My wife handed over over the medical results to the officer at the Miami airport when she entered in February. I have a copy of her DS 3025 Vaccination Documentation Worksheet signed by the US doctor in Bolivia with the checked off items she had done. I also have a small certified vaccination card that’s shows she had influenza and TdaP administered.  What should I bring for this bullet item?

2. A completed Affidavit(s) of support (Form I-864) with all required evidence, including the following, for each of your sponsors (unless already submitted).

I sent in form I-864 with our AOS application do I need to do this again?

Also the Embassy kept my certified divorce record and I have a copy from the state, do I need another certified copy or will a copy be ok?

Thanks

A copy of the DS-3025. Make sure the "completed" box is checked off, otherwise you need a new medical.

At my interview they didn't even ask for it, but I know some officers want to see it again. Also, I printed the page from the I-693 instructions that states you don't need a new medical if you applied for AOS within 1 year of the medical, just in case the officer would give me a hard time over it (I filed within the year, my medical expired April this year and some officers try to tell you that you need a new medical to be approved what's wrong, unless you have a certain condition or if it's not completed)

Just take the one you sent. It also states you need to take a copy of the AOS application, so that's part of it anyway. If anything changed in your income you should update your I-864.

Does it state they need a certified copy or just a copy? And don't you have a copy of the certified copy?

Thank you C90

The request per the green card interview instructions is vague, it says the following without the words 'copy' or 'certified' in the request (see below). In my opinion certificate has a different meaning than certified...just me. Like I said the Bolivia Embassy kept the certified copy my wife then fiance gave them per their request so if I needed a certified copy that's more money I need to spend which I will do obviously but I have a copy and wondering if that would be ok?

If either you or your spouse were ever married before, all divorce decrees/death certificates for each prior marriage/former spouse.

I've never been divorced so these are just my thoughts. Do you have the original divorce decree? In that case I would just make a copy of it and take both to the interview to proof that the copy you give them is an actual copy of the original.

Thanks C90

I noticed others bring things like a copy of the I-129F and photos prior to their wedding and a lot more not requested....good stuff to have but thinking overkill.

I was thinking show photos of wedding, invitations to wedding, photos of us after wedding (you know selfies at parks, with friends/family etc.)

I think I will bring as proof of ongoing relationship/joint relationship: utility bill, joint bank account, my wife on my retirement/pension, my wife covered under my health plan, marriage certificate

Also a copy of the I-864 nothing has changed.

Original birth certificates and my wife’s translated

My wife’s passport

My wife’s I-94 (No EAD or Advanced Parole letters of approval in mail yet)

My IRS transcript

My W2

My current pay stubs

My employment verification

All NOA’s

My wife’s vaccination card (from Bolivia for Embassy interview done by a US doctor)

My wife’s Vaccination worksheet list  (from Bolivia for Embassy interview signed by US doctor)

My certified Divorce records

My criminal/police record which is clean

My wife has no criminal record as was checked during Embassy interview.

Im also considering bringing our friend to interpret which I understand is ok as she is not a family member or have intimate knowledge of our relationship. My wife has learned a lot of English and chances are the interviewer will speak Spanish as well as English as most do in Miami.

The green card checklist states to bring original and a copy of each supporting document we submitted with our application....I’m assuming they are talking about the I-485?

Thanks

Yes, you need to bring originals + copies (e.g. birth certificate, passport with K1 visa in it) from what you sent in your application to the interview.

Question for the experts, is it normal for an AOS interview for them to ask for birth certificates of all children?   They requested from him in his example.     So far that has not been requested of us (AOS from a B2 Visa).   So getting the birth certificates mailed from overseas will be a scramble and I hope it's not needed for everyone??

Are the children adjusting status?

My husband adjusted from a K-1, and the BCs of his two children were required for his consular interview  in Auckland (even though they were not planning to travel as K-2s), but we were not asked for them at his AOS interview.  We wouldn't have even had them with us if asked.
