Oh gosh I’m so sorry. That is so hard. I left today for the states. It’s been a heartbreaking day.

Really hoping we can get get him to the states by October half term. I hope that our expectations aren’t too high.

Lets keep everything crossed, for all of us, that our case numbers will be with us soon!!!! I suppose we should be grateful that we are able to do DCF, can you imagine having to wait 15 months?!? Fingers crossed for good news on Monday!

So we received our LND number today! I'm hoping everyone else did too!! Booked the medical for..... tomorrow!!!! They had lots of appointments available this week and for the week after. Interview booked in for 17th which was the first available date (couldn't of done it any sooner anyway) but they also had lots of availability for nearly everyday this month (as long as you didn't mind an early slot) Can't believe after all of this waiting the end is finally in sight. Fingers crossed everyone else also received theirs too 🙂

Congrats! We still haven't received ours, and our NOA2 was issued on the 13th of August, so we're almost at a month without hearing from them...

Do you mind sharing what was your NOA2 date?

I might have to send them a message to let them know we never received the LND number...

Our NOA2 date was August 29th!! You should be way ahead of us??

I would definitely contact them and see why you haven't received yours yet?

Our timeline seems to align with other peoples, around 11 days between NOA2 and LND. I hope you get it sorted. My husband emailed them last week to query the address they had on file for him and they replied within the hour!

They were extremely quick! I messaged them last night and they've already emailed me back with my number.

Turns out I should've received it two weeks ago already!

It seems like if you're waiting for 3 weeks, definitely just shoot them a message. Good luck to everyone!

Here's the link. Good luck!

I think you can also mention in your message to them that the address has changed, to pass that along as well. (I believe you had moved in with friends/family for now, right?)

I emailed and just got a generic email saying that I’ll only get info if it’s been over 8 weeks.

What did you say in yours?

Oh, strange. Somewhere else they mention 5 weeks.

I'd just mentioned it had been a month since I heard from USCIS; maybe that is their cut off.

Oh ok. Ours hasn’t been a month yet. It’ll be just 3 weeks on Friday. I thought your NOA2 date was August 29th for some reason.

Ah, no, mine wasn't. But L&I got theirs in already, and theirs was the 29th.

Did you mention the move and updating the information as well? Waiting 8 weeks seems pretty silly if the letter is never going to reach you regardless.

Oh gosh!!!  That’s so annoying. I don’t know why ours seems to take longer than all of yours!

I didn’t mention our change of address. We have contact with the people who moved into our flat and they said they’d let us know as soon as it arrives. I didn’t know if it was worth changing it since it was all forwarded from the USCIS office to the embassy in London. I didn’t want that to make things take longer.

Well wait it out this week because the NOA2 did eventually turn up after I sent them the email asking about where it was.
