Filed: AOS (apr) Country: France
Timeline

My wife (US citizen) and I live in France. We filled the I-130 petition in February to apply for a immigrant visa and were sent to Nebraska SC. Since then I had the opportunity to transfer within my company and my L1B visa was approved. We will move to Richmond, VA in the coming weeks. I will file for AOS once we get there. My assumption is that my AOS application will go to the local USCIS office (Norfolk I believe) and that the I-130 petition will be transfered from Nebraska SC to the local office and everything will be processed there. Is that right? Is there anything in particular I need to be aware of to avoid any hickups? Thank you.
