I am worried they will deny my case.

our story -

we met 5 years ago when I visited the US for 3 months, and we kinda dated but it wasn't serious because we knew I had to leave.

when I left, we kept communicating via whatsapp and skype. but it was more friendly than romantic.

two years ago I went to the US again to see him and stayed 2 months, we dated and after a month he proposed to me and we got married.

I left and been waiting in my country for my case to be processed, I had to take care of my elderly mother, that's the main reason I came back.

the process is taking a long time plus it was also my fault, because it took me a long time to locate some documents.

anyway, at first we thought the whole process will take 6 month but it's been 14 now and still no interview date.

When we saw the process was taking long we decided to go on our honeymoon in Europe, this was 2 months ago.

We are CC but still no idea when my interview is going to take place.

I am freaking out because I feel like they will deny us, i went through everything we sent with our petition and it's not much. it's photos of only us, some chat logs and a letter from a friend. back then we didn't have much and we still don't.

My husband tried adding me to his bank account but they said that I have to come in person because I don't have SSN, he ordered a credit card in my name but I can't use it because it's asking SSN for activation.

I am frustrated. I feel like they will read out chats and think we are just friends and deny us, we are not very lovey dovey  in our conversations usually, it's mostly everyday stuff, we do have some I LOVE YOU, but it's not all the time.

we don't have wedding photos because we got married at city hall. we don't have family photos because my husband never met my mom,  he never visited my country, he has a business and can't just travel whenever he wants, even the honeymoon was hard to plan. I did meet his mom but we didn't think to snap photos, it wasn't an event or anything. other than our mothers there's no more family.

I don't know what to do.

We do have new photos from our honeymoon but that is all.

Should I fly to the US before the interview to create more evidence? like photos with his mom? more time spent together? I just don't know what to do.

We never got an RFE but I feel that the interview will be problematic.

I need your opinion please.I am freaking out and literally can't function.I keep imagining them denying me and canceling my tourist visa and then I'll never be able to get a new one, and this will cause me to be apart from my husband,  there is no way my husband can come live in my country.it's been painful enough being apart for so long, now it's literally already feels like physical pain.

 thank you.

You are over thinking this......I see no reason to think you will be denied.....married couple living in separate countries aren't expected to have joint property, bank accounts, etc.  The best evidence you can provide is that of time spent together, continued communication, and your marriage certificate........relax, and start preparing for your interview.  THERE IS NO REASON TO PANIC!!!  Good luck!!

The very nature of this process lends itself to paranoia, overthinking, and second guessing (I was guilty of all 3 at various points from when I filed to when my wife arrived); when it gets to that point, you need to just do something completely unrelated to the process to take your mind off of it and allow yourself to refresh.

Don't panic!

I know the long waits can drive you insane, but lots of couples have been approved having submitted what you submitted. When you live in a different country than your spouse during the visa process, there's only so much you can do. With no RFE, I'd expect you're well on your way. Here's to hoping you get an interview date soon

Best wishes
