Luckily, I am only 3 1/2 months older than my fiancee. But I'm curious if the age difference is a problem for other couples. I know, as long as you love your partner nobody should care about the age  But we all know that's not always the case...

No problems here. I am 7 years older than my fiancee which I don' think is very much of a difference. My ex girl friend is 10 years older than me.

My husband is 14 years older than I am, and we don't have any problems with the age difference. Nor does either of our families.

18 years. The age difference for me is a plus. I couldn't see myself marrying someone any younger. Everything about his age is perfect. He has everything that lacks in me, patience, more wisdom...

We haven't had any problems so far, not with family, friends or at work.

I am almost 11 years older than P. At first I had problems with it, but more because I was worried how his family would take it and that he might be happier with a woman closer to his age. Needless to say, since we've made it to this process, there weren't any major issues.

mine is more than 18 as well..way more..but we don't have any problem about it neither the immigration..but his family does..not all just his children..its sort the sad coz i was expecting to have a new family when i moved here but its what it is..they were thinking that he is taking advantage of me ( being young)..i think its better than them thinking that i am the one taking advantage of him...i will be crushed!

Thanks for the replies so far :) Wow, I didn't think that the distribution of the age difference is that even, I always thought it'd be way more couples where the man is older than the other way around

Small difference, I'm older, not really a problem. Maturity isn't the same as age, which is worth noting. ;) Sometimes people the same age have one partner who seems 10 years younger than the other.
