K1 VISA MUMBAI, INDIA - how sooner or later did you find out that your visa was approved or denied after the consular interview?

I wanted to know how much time did the people at the consulate take to let you know that your visa has been approved or denied? Did they do it right after the consular interview in Mumbai, India or did they take some time and mailed it to you? Basically how much time did it take in you guys cases?

Unless India is unique, you should get an answer at the interview.

As mentioned above, you will hear that at the end of the interview. So that is pretty straightforward.

 

Having your visa in hand will be a completely different thing though, depending on the Administrative Processing time. There are no set time lines for this so I recommend not to book any tickets until you actually have your passport and visa in hand (unless you don’t mind losing the airfare or paying the change fees on your ticket if course..)
