Welcome...

I might ask this gentleman directly.. "pushbrk"

He was very helpful for me. If he does not know, he might be able to direct you. There is also a decent website in China that my fiance goes to and asks questions. I do not have it right now, but I will try to get it to you later? Good Luck!

She's already asked in another thread but the title of this thread is somewhat misleading. The OP was offering assistance for obtaining visas to visit or work in China. Not what we do here.

Hi, would someone help me with this? My fiance is waiting for interview at Guangzhou consulate for K1 visa however he does not have a birth certificate. He never received a birth certificate. Would there be any problems at the interview? What can he do? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hope this helps:

Hello everybody, as you can see in the title, I am your China Visa Guide now!!

I found this forum by random search on google. if you have any question, please ask!!

Ok,

I'd like to attend the interview with my wife at the Embassy. Do I need to make any special arrangements to do that?

haha, somehow it feels like you are testing me or something.

but before I answer you, can you be a little more specific about your question.

you are going to the China Embassy in the U.S?

Or you are going to The U.S Embassy in P.R.C?

Sorry about the delay I was too busying with other stuff.

Though I can just come here at least once a day and check everything out.

Worse, I was baiting you.

My wife has already arrived from China on a K3 visa as anyone can clearly see from my timeline. Furthermore, neither the China Embassy in the US or the US Embassy in China conducts interviews related to fiance or spouse related visas for Chinese Citizens to come to the USA.

All CR1 and K visas for PRC Citizens are applied for at the US Consulate in Guangzhou. All interviews for those visas are held in Guangzhou as well. The US Citizen Petitioners are not allowed to attend the interviews.

Why do you think you can be of assistance, if you aren't aware of these simple facts?

I thought you need to provide the birth certificate copy for the K-1 visa filing. Anyway, here is how I got my own certificate.

The shanghai notary office will provide the certificate and translation.

Sorry guys, I didn't have time to come back to the page and take a look.

Until today I received someone's PM regarding his China Visa, which also brought me back to here.

I am not a China Officer works in the China Embassy, but I do work in a China Visa Agent to help answer people's questions. So, I guess I am a half expert. If you have any question, I will be gladly to answer. (let's take all the Q&A personally, LOL)

I wonder why can't I edit my previous post anymore, time limit?

I'm confused...Visa Journey is a website dedicated to family immigration to the US, why would we have questions on visas to China?

I am unsure what is really going on here, but please know that presenting yourself as an expert and leading people to seek out your advice is wholly against what we "do" here and comes far too past the line of Unlicensed Practice of Law for VJ comfort. We base our suggestions on how to wade through the journey on anecdotal evidence as well as published information from USCIS. Answering PMs to members regarding any immigration question is a very risky way to conduct yourself here (as it would be for anyone).

Congratulations on your pregnancy. No, being pregnant will not speed up your visa process. Only the US Citizen's financial documents are examined. I suggest you encourage your fiance to learn the process to.

My fiance understands English very good, but she has a hard time speaking. Do you think, she will have problem in interview?

Maybe. I spent countless hours teaching my wife to answer numerous potential interview questions in English, then not a word of English was spoken in her interview. Others have been initially denied because the Consular Officer didn't believe they could communicate.
