US consulate in Casablanca

Hi everyone,

My case was documentary approved on 06/14/2019 and still i didn't receive an interview date yet. is anyone waiting for an interview at the Casablanca embassy? I am F2B visa category.

One CR1 cc in January was not scheduled till July

Casa is very backed up

you need patience

embassy (or NVC in family cases) will let you know when the interview is scheduled)

 

just to show how much this has changed 

in 2009 i applied K1 in July and we had November interview (short of 5 months from application to interview)

now,  the embassy is doing an interview every 15 minutes from 8 AM to 12 and backed up by several months

 

they do try to give preference to family based visas 

however ,  they still have many from November and December 2018 (CR1 and IR1) on hold at embassy for the ds5535 security checks

and that has also slowed things down
