Can I wear a saree at the K1 US Consulate interview (Mumbai, India)?

Hello! I have my interview in a month & I was wondering if I could wear a saree to the consular interview for K1 Visa? If someone has done this, can you tell me if its a good idea? Do they appreciate or accept native clothes?

You can wear whatever you're comfortable in.  It will make absolutely no difference in your visa processing.

Depends on geography.

 

Traditional Jarawa dress would probably make the IO and other interviewees a bit uncomfortable however a saree would probably not bother anyone.
