We filed AOS on June 4th, NOA1 June 6th, and Biometrics appointment on July 3rd. Our status on USCIS never changed.

Whyyy 😫

Because there is nothing to change it to until they start looking at the file

YMMV

Got it! So not everyone will change for the finger print review complete right?

people's files don't usually update unless there's an issue like an RFE or a decision.

What does the current status say?

My husband had his biometrics on 11/30/18, and in December sometime it changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview."  It still says that (our FO, Seattle, is taking 11-23 months for AOS just now), and won't change until an interview slot opens up.

As soon as your file is deemed to be complete, you should have the "Ready" status as well.

Ours did not update on the old site, but on the new, it updated pretty quickly. With USCIS, updates and notifications seem to be sporadic.

Not everyone's status gets updated after biometrics. We were stuck on "Fingerprint fee received" for 5 months.

The important one, anyway, is "Interview has been scheduled".

^^^^ This. You may get an update that your case is ready for interview but than can happen months before your interview actually happens.

Finally done...

Ours changed from "Finger print payment received" (or whatever it says for NOA1) to "fingerprint review completed" 1 day after biometrics so yes some people do get a different status after biometrics but before "interview ready to be scheduled" ... So OP yes, it looks like not everyone does, probably because it's not a crucial update, and probably based on office/officer.

Many of the June 2019 AOS filers have gotten an update after biometrics, like @MeghanK above but it seems like it is not treated as an important update. My husband had his biometrics appt on July 11th but we have not gotten the "fingerprint review completed" status update.

I wouldn't worry about it @kvalam. I suspect we are still on the right track for AOS just like the people that have gotten the update.

May filer here. We had biometrics done on June 4th and status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" on July 10th. So about 5 weeks after fingerprints.

I also didn't get the "Fingerprint review completed" update like a lot of people have. It still says "Fingerprint fee received". AOS filed March 2019.
