Hello, we are on day 117 since they received our application for EAD/AP/AOS. I am the American spouse and just lost my job a few days ago. My husband can get a job offer in writing -- do you think it's worth applying for an expedite? I have a LOT of money in savings (I was a C-level business person)...do they ask for this? He would also get insurance as I've lost mine (and his) now. Thoughts on if this would work? Do they ask for bank statements? Or just a written job offer? And is that just a letter from future employer? Thank you!

Absolutely.  It doesn't cost anything, and you two probably have enough free time on your hand right now.  I'd say just go for it.  I don't think they'll ask about your savings.  His job offer should be good enough, especially in combination with your recently losing your job.  Good luck.

Look into COBRA

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Yes, we will pay for COBRA, but it's $$$. My point was, it would be nice to have him get a job and get health insurance that I don't have to pay for!
