Do you have your EAD?  You will need an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) prior to being able to work.  Employers will require that.......I suggest using online resources to look for job openings.......then I would contact the HR departments......If you are near Little Rock, I suggest searching the UAMS.edu web site for job openings........UAMS is a great place to work, imo.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Whoa.  You seem quite unprepared to be just now looking into this.  Did you file for an EAD at the same time as the green card?  Have you had the green card interview yet, or received the card?

I strongly suggest that you throughly read and study the guides here, and also look up the licensure requirements for your state if you want to work in health care.

You should be prepared for needing further education prior to entering the job market in the field of medicine. As the commenter above states, you need to see if your education and experience are sufficient for gaining a license in your profession. Many people, including my wife, have found that the experience and education from their home country was insufficient and were required to take further class work to become licensed in the US. You might work on pulling all that information together while waiting for your EAD.

Search for the state government agency in charge of licensing. They may or may not be in charge of licensing for your profession.

Go to your local community college. They often have information on certifcation and licensing for specific professions.

So do you want to be a physician?  I believe you would have to start over with medical school in the US.

I would first start with a university level class in English composition.

I took a look at this :https://phci.ac.tz/?page_id=216

I wonder if maybe some of your classes might transfer over to a LPN or RN program. You'd need to have them evaluated first, of course, and then ask the university that you are interested whether they'd transfer.

There doesn't appear to be any direct equivalent.
