So I have always sent all of my packages through the regular post office with surprisingly little trouble. They have always gotten there relatively intact. But I am getting ready to send off all of the documents for the interview, and really don't want to chance it at all. Awal only has a PO Box, and as far as I can gather has never even heard of the concept of an actual address.. I've called both FedEx and DHL, and neither of them will deliver to the PO Box. DHL can get it as far as Accra, but then he'd have to come all the way to get it. What has everyone else done? Any advice?

I sent all of Re's paperwork to a PO box. I sent two packages for everything that I had to send to him so that just in case one of them got "lost" in the mail there would be one more (a duplicate) coming. I also split the paperwork up into two packages. So basically I sent him four groups of paper - four packages - when he only needed two of them. In the end, three of them got to him, so we were covered.

A good alternative would be to send it Express Mail. This service is through your regular post office but is comparable to any Fedex or DHL service. I used it a couple of times and Peter's package arrived in less than 7 days to his P.O. box. Plus, you can get insurance, guarantees and you can track it online. It's also more reasonably priced than the other services. Be sure you use Global Express Mail and not Priority Mail though.

I sent my stuff FEDEX. However, the idea of duplicating the information and sending it in two packages is a good idea. In Cameroon they send the packages to the capitals, but then a local company takes over and send them out to the remote sites. Good Luck

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished
