Had 3 date changes in April and 3 now in May, must be a hell of a background check.

I sometimes wonder how deep these have become. Do they actually servile a person? Like monitor your calls and texts?

Sometimes these agencies creep me out. Lol

After an eternity and 8 or 9 date changes in April/May, finally got approval today. Onwards to next step.

Interestingly approval notice came from Nebraska(not VT). I wonder if vermont did all the background check/leg work and sent it back to Nebraska for final approval.

Is there any one else on this Forum that is still waiting?

Yes. 10 months and 9 days since our petition was accepted with NO movement. I submitted an inquiry for outside of normal processing & got a BS "you're in line for review" response. I've filed a request for assistance with my senator's office now.

I've taken a break from the forum because I'm impatient, emotional, haven't seen my husband for 6 months & have no idea when I'll be able to again thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic & border closures. Add in that my city is currently burning because police murdered a man in broad daylight....and it's definitely better I'm not online lol

I've been feeling it also, and when our youngest daughter asks when can they come to America...tugs at the old heart strings.  I have also submitted an Inquiry I got a BS response also, "he had to perform an additional review, is why your case is taking longer than normal"  but they did also say, "Case is currently with an adjudicating officer and we should receive a notice in 60 DAYS"

Sorry about your case taking so long. I also got the case in line to be reviewed BS 4 days ago.

How long since you got that reply from USCIS ?
