We've got 3 updates before the approval. 1st update was on 8/23/2019, 2nd was on 11/13/2019 and last update was yesterday 3/19/2020 and this morning around 10:30AM, I received a text message and email from USCIS that our case is approved. God is so good.

Ours was stuck in October for what felt like so long, then it changed to 17th March 2020, then 18th March 2020, and then approved on 20th March 2020. So these date changes definitely mean they do "something" with the file.

Yes I had been checking everyday lol 🤭

Further update for July filers, I just received my NVC case number 4 days after approval, so it's definitely moving fast for everyone!

It has been over a month since the approval and nothing from the NVC. This is so annoying!

Oh no. Have you called NVC?

Did you get it by email?

I did! Was actually a bit strange. I called Friday night to check they had the case (as I'd seen some people approved after me get case numbers) they said yes, they got it the day after approval, it's in line to be assigned a case number. I wasn't expecting anything until Monday at least but then at 11pm Saturday night EST, they e-mailed me the case number. Account was accessible immediately.

I have been calling NVC every other day - they give me a generic answer, saying that they have not recieved the case from USCIS and it might take up to 6 weeks.
