🤔 I am about to take a wild guess here with what has been happening with some people getting approved past others pd. It appears that processing times posted on the USCIS website are done by taking an average of date submitted vs date approved. With that said, It makes sense that they approve some petitions like August or even September filers in order to bring down that average when in reality they are far more behind then they say they are 🤨

so it would work like this, every time a large group of new applications gets assigned to them they choose to approve a few within a very short period of time giving them a low average for that group thus bringing down the entire average for that specific service center.

Don’t mind me just ranting here 😖 boy i gotta stop obsessing  over this 🤦🏻‍♀️

July 8 PD Texas 😒

We now show case processing times as a range. The first number is the time it takes to complete 50% of cases (the median). The second number is the time it takes to complete 93% of cases.

What the!!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ What genius at USCIS came up with that math 🙄 it makes no sense. Guys this is why we are all still waiting. 93% of all of USCIS has no clue 🤣

We called NVC for the first time today and they told us they just received our case. It’s been 13 days since we got the USCIS approved.

Who is the welcome letter addressed to ? The beneficiary or petitioner ?

For NVC? Both, through email (assuming both the petitioner's and beneficiary's emails were included on the I130)

Not the email address, the letter is addressed to my husband who is the beneficiary. Is that correct ? Or should it have been addressed to me . It says “dear(my husbands name)”

I was just looking at some of the recent Potomac timelines and someone who got approved on 5th Feb got their NVC case number on 12th Feb 😲

That is promising for the rest of us 👀

@Gsanon I just realised it was your timeline I was talking about in my post haha. Yes I believe it's correct, it would be addressed to beneficiary because beneficiary is the one who applies for the visa at this stage.
