Kindly check ur USCIS account to see if all the documents u mailed now appears in the upload section of ur account.

If all are there, it could be another way to know that our case is nearing approval...

I got another update january 11. But no document is uploaded yet except that one which was uploaded at very beginning.

What is going on with Potomac center? Only two approvals from July ive seen so far. It is second week of Jan now and people should be back from their holidays. It is so frustrating 😩 Texas are way ahead and I saw July 29th approval on fb.

I wonder if they've stopped processing after June because July is when all applications became IOE receipts? A lot of work was transferred there so maybe they want those, and anything submitted on paper, caught up before they start using the online system? It's all speculation but it's just so odd because they must be doing something. We'll see what this week brings...

Fingers crossed 🤞 I really hope they start working on July ASAP and we get to see July approvals. Patience is the key but I’m losing it slowly cause in my mind, by now we should’ve gotten approval but that didn’t happen. I think I should prepare my mind for another 6 months for the overall process and visa in hand.

The reason why there have been a prolonged wait at the potomac center, its because they are currently working on cases transferred from the California center. I confirmed that from here https://web.facebook.com/groups/532195830968191/?multi_permalinks=572209140300193&notif_id=1578761339753838&notif_t=group_activity&ref=notif&__m_async_page__=1

Hopefully, they continue with July filers soon.

Thanks for info, the link doesn't work for me, but it makes sense though that they would want to clear all the transferred work first.

Hopefully it doesn't take them too long and put them way behind with our I-130s... it looks as though we have the same dates!

For everyone the link won't open for, here is a quote from the first post that came up on the group.

"I just want to add to my previous approval post. There was a debate whether the transferred cases are really at Potomac center or at CSC. So my case was approval notice was issued on 1/7, i got text and email late on 1/9, online shows it approved on 1/8 and I received the approval letter in mail on 1/9 from Potomac center. So yes the cases are at Potomac center.
For those who’s cases have already been approved, did your online status changed to “case was sent to department of state” yet? Thanks"

is this the one regarding the I-130 A ?

They never said specifically what the RFE was for, only that they just received one! At least not in the group I'm in.
