Hello Everyone,

New to this forum, We are July I-130 filers with a PD of July 9th. I been following our application on a daily bases and noticed that on the USCIS secure site our case status got an updated date of 10/29/2019 today. The last time our date got updated it was in 09/15/2019. Not sure what the updates on the dates mean, but i'm hoping its a good thing.

We are at Potomac processing center

That is actually what happened with mine.  They did an update and when I looked at it again a day or two later it had a closed case check box.  I looked in the documents and my approval letter was there.

The only other soft update we had was on sept 11 and then another the day before changed to close status.  Took a few days short of 6 months from submitted date to approval.  Good luck.  I know it's so stressful waiting.

Thank you for the info, this would be our second update since our initial submission .. Hope we are getting close to completion.

Wow this is so encouraging ,our date has changed from September 7 2019 to October 24th. On the documents they have uploaded a different part of our chats.

We don't check everyday so probably the change occurred  5 days ago.  Now I will check more often.

We are at Potomac.

Trusting God that approval will be soon for everyone of us.

Hoping this ends soon. Glad to see some movement. We are in Potomac , July 2019. I want this to wait to come to an end , seeing how long an interview in Guyana is taking is giving me so much anxiety. Wait times for an interview surpassing 12 months for CITIZENS!! Ugh!! This is going to take almost 2 years or more for us!!

Same here, our Pd is July 18th and Aug 6th for K3. But we are stuck in Nebraska :( my husband is a citizen and I’m in Mexico, waiting for the interview will take also 12 months or more, so it will take around 2 years for us too. It’s so frustrating. Interviews waiting time for residents petitions are no longer than 2 months now in Mexico because their approval takes “longer” than for citizens. My process will be as long as if my husband was a resident.

Where do one check the waiting time for an interview?  my wife  is in Kenya

Do a timeline search for Kenya, and sort by interview date, you can get an idea from NOA2 to interview- here's a quick search-1651320303_ScreenShot2019-10-29at3_24_10PM.png.076c62d7ec52a55e067d04c38ea632d2.png

i feel for you guys, that's gotta be torture knowing there is extended waits for interviews at your embassies. I hope you both have speedy noa2 coming soon. This whole process is so unbalances at every avenue.

Thank you from the screen shot, I can tell it's about 4-6months

It looks as though ours "updated" on 15th October, and I downloaded the scanned document - a few months ago it was just my wife's passport page, but now it looks like the whole application and evidence is scanned in too.

Fingers crossed they whizz through all the IOE receipts at all centres 🤞
