I am rooting for you guys. IOE has a lot of potential, but you know it's all gov't slow processes. I hope that by the time my wife wants to petition her parents if they want to come. That they have the I-130 Online, USCIS IOE, and NVC Online and Embassy Online so there's no paper being printed out.

yea, for sure, all gov't processes are slow 🐢🐢. I'm hopeful these IOE's make things even just a bit smoother and just a quicker. HOW AMAZING would it be to have that option to do it all online! That will be greattt. Looks like you're so close to the interview stage, hopefully smooth sailing from here for you guys!

We're all officially getting into the third month too! idk why, but I'm excited time is moving along, we're makin progress! You're Nebraska right, it definitely seems like the 129-f's are making an impact on Nebraska application, hang tight, your time is coming soon!!! I can't wait for the first person in this group to be approved, lol, and it will likely be Potomac, you're right!

Our case is at Potomac SC hoping by  December we will get approval.  December is the estimated time.  Praying that months fly.

Makes sense. So they scan everything and we wait in line like everyone else. Cool. And fair. But is there any information on why we only see one or two random documents uploaded? I sent 40 pictures, the petition and other required docs. Just curious about how the scanning is done..

@yellowtulips

I saw your timeline was updated, and it says you've been approved?! Is that true?!! I know you had asked about expedite, for a friend, but did you, by chance, expedite as well?? I think you may have submitted the 129-f too, maybe that's why? I'm so eager to hear more!

Yes I was approved. I’m not sure what did it though. I filed an expedite request after speaking to my friend because I realized I may qualify as well due to my own circumstances. I did file the i129f, it is still pending.

Wow! congrats! I hope everything goes quick and smoothly for you in this next step.

I thought USCIS lets you know if your expedite request gets approved or not, but I could be mistaken, did they tell you if your request had been approved? How did you request your expedite, by mail or phone?

Yeah me too. Yes they let me know when it was approved. But since I filed the 129 also I wasn’t sure which one actually assisted in getting it approved. Either way, I’m happy. I requested it by phone just like my girl did.

I was determined I wasn’t going to file the I-129F but after the comments from other users, we mailed our I-129F for the K3 the other day. Hoping to be delivered on Monday and get a second reference! Fingers crossed for a speedier review 🙂

Do we need pay additional fees if we  apply for 129F after applying for I-130?

Maybe we'll get more of an idea if IOE will be any different over the next month or two. From what I can gather, previous IOEs were part of the "pilot", whereas all applications from the end of June and all of us in July started the system of everyone getting IOE.

We're at Potomac and they are currently doing the beginning of June, which would still be the paper receipts, but when they get to us in July it might give everyone some idea of how quickly centres are able to get through or process the entire month of electronic receipts.

Fingers crossed for everyone that it is quicker, so once the paper receipt backlogs are cleared at all the centres, electronic receipts can be skimmed through.

Hi Guys,

I hope everyone is doing well. I was wondering if anyone could provide their opinion on something that I want to do. I filed I-130 for my husband on July 5th after being denied for I-129F on March of this year. I read from many members in this forum that they filed I-129F after receiving the Noa 1 from I-130. I never did file that being afraid that I was just gonna make it more confusing for the person that was gonna handle my petition. I have been wondering lately if I made a mistake for not sending the I-129F. Should I still send it? What are your thoughts on this?
