I think they're July 2018 filer 🤷

Yeah, I looked up their timeline after and assumed they’d posted in the wrong July thread .... hopefully we will have some early approvals but I’d be surprised if that were this early!

When you send an inquiry, who do you send it to? I want to ask about my docs as well.

@yellowtulips i sent it through inbox on site where u can view your document. They have few options. I selected "Getting an answer to general question." I am attaching a screenshot of information they ask if I were to resubmit the inquiry. Hope this helps :)Screenshot_20190908-173129_Chrome.thumb.jpg.310201ae8dddf3cd5d8a3582afdb3563.jpg

I'm not sure the date is an update as such, just the date we first logged in to see the latest change...

I was originally thinking that maybe it just updated with every login so have logged in every day since to test if the date updates with every login but nope, still showing Sept 6th. Maybe you're right that it is just to show us the first date we saw updates though.

Hang in there corntop! I definitely feel you on the anxiety/restlessness part. Like everyone, I want this over with, preferably before the process even began! 😂 I don't have the option of moving to be with my husband because I have kids from a previous marriage, one of whom has significant health challenges, otherwise I would be long gone already. We're both tired of the whole "see each other for a few days every 4 months" thing and want to be able to move forward as a couple. We'll get there, hopefully sooner rather than later, but in due time!

I see a lot of people saying they have September dates when logging in. For what it’s worth, I have a PD of July 15th and I saw that beneficiary name was added with date of August 20th online. Sent in my I-129f which I’m still waiting on my NOA1. They signed for the package on August 30th, so should be getting any day now.

Hi guys!

We filed in July too and our noA1 came on the July 12th!

I was reading through the thread and came across IOE receipt numbers? What’s that and how do I know if I have one?

Thank you!

Hey, your receipt number on your NOA1 has three letters in front of it. The letters signify what service center processes your case HOWEVER the USCIS is moving to an online system and started assigning IOE numbers (simply meaning the docs will be uploaded into an electronic filing system as opposed to boxes of paper files). You know you have an IOE case of your receipt number starts with IOE. IOE’s are still assigned to physical service centers for processing, and that center can be found at the bottom left hand corner of your notice.

At one point having an IOE receipt number moved your case faster because it was a piloted program but now it seems we are in regular rotation with everyone else who have other letters before their numbers.

Hello Guys,

I applied for my wife under F2A category. I am a resident of Georgia and my service center as per my address should be Texas. But my application was send to California and given an IOE number.

are all F2A applications, if filers country is India going to California?

Texas wait times are 6 months and California wait times are 30 months.

Not sure if I should withdraw the application and refile it OR can I make the case for the application to be sent to Texas as per my resident state.

Thanks a lot you guys.

Which state you are in doesn’t indicate which service center it gets sent to. No, you can’t choose, or change. If we could everyone would pick Potomac. I may be wrong but I believe all F2A applications are processed in California. That’s not my category so someone else may be able to confirm that, that’s just an assumption I’ve made based on reading lots of threads on here.

Most F2A petitions go to California Service Center regardless of your residence. Overall, F2A petitions take 18-24 months regardless of the "current" F2A priority date on the visa bulletin.

Your best chance of speeding up would be to get naturalized and upgrade your petition to CR-1/IR-1. Most petitions get approved within 5 months of an upgrade.

I have read on a few forums that IOE I130s are being processed faster as it's still in pilot phase and USCIS wants to make sure process goes through NVC's smoothly.

anyone who has some definitive information on this?

thanks again.

Nobody has an answer to this question. July 2019 is the first cohort of IOE cases, and so far there haven't been any approvals yet.

USCIS has been randomly assigning IOE cases since Jan 2019 and quickly processing those cases to validate the whole system. Since they have assigned everyone the IOE case numbers starting from late June 2019, it means that the pilot phase is over. They have finished validating the system and decided that the new system is ready for all I-130 cases. So, my two cents is that all IOE cases are now in the same queue as the legacy cases. Even if IOE cases are more efficient for processing, the first cohort wouldn't see any benefits as all the legacy cases still need to be processed first.

I concur.
