Many years ago I was the same way, I have discovered Manila has so much to offer and so much to do.

The things I dislike are the same in Manila or Cebu or the province as well. People trying to run me over with all sorts of different vehicles))))

Finally done...

I do understand that.

I schedule the wheelchair when I book my airfare.  If you already booked the airfare, call the airlines and request the wheelchair.

not scheduled yet, but I certainly will request one..

100% this. I don't just look both ways, I do a 360 surveillance before crossing any street in the Philippines

Also do foreigners pay travel tax or airport tax (whatever added tax not part of the ticket) or is that for locals?

Its paid for when you fly out of Manila.  However, most likely if you fly out of any other airport in the Philippines then you have to pay the fee.  I know its true for Bacolod and Cebu, but I can't remember if I had to pay it when I flew out of Davao.  Hope that helps.  Its like $20 or something.

Are you referring to the terminal fee?

YMMV

Yes.  That is correct.  So remember to always have some money left over before you leave.  I made the mistake of giving my wife all of my left over PHP before I left.  Then when I got to the gate I had to pay the terminal fee and didn't have any cash on me, so it was a mad rush to find an ATM.  Almost missed my flight trying to pay the terminal fee because they didn't take credit cards.  I never made that mistake again.  LOL

Isn't terminal fee part of the ticket? How much is it?

Got it. So the 750php is part of the ticket? It's paid for already?

Just double check the fees paid on your ticket itinerary

YMMV

Only  for NAIA is it included in the airfare as far as I have heard.   Mactan, Clark and Davao I believe you still pay it at the airport.  P750

Cebu Mactan is 850 due to the new international terminal.

Quote
1: How much is the terminal fee?
International Terminal Fee is Php 850.
2: Where should I pay?
There are designated counters for terminal fee before proceeding to immigration counters inside Terminal 2 Wing.

P850 ...  ouch

You know it will soon be 850 at Manila

It is monkey see monkey do in that country

You walk past a street vendor and see someone selling coconut juice and then you will find 5 more within a 30 feet radius of them selling the same item.
