Hi everyone, so here I am, not even in the USA yet and already thinking about (worrying) the US citizenship. I'm sorry if this was already asked, but I wasn't able to find what I need on this forum or www.uscis.gov. What are the conditions on dual citizenship? I know I still have a long way to go before I can even qualify to become a US citizen, but I would just like to know.

The US allows for multiple citizenship and does not require you to give up your home citizenship when you naturalize to be a US citizen.

You will need to check the citizenship laws for your home country.  Some countries allows for multiple citizenship.  Others do not.

P.S.  Seems like you would lose your Dutch citizenship if you gain US citizenship.  https://www.government.nl/topics/dutch-nationality/loss-of-dutch-nationality

I agree with @aaron2020.   Example , I am an India and now an US citizen, so need to surrender Indian passport because India does not allow dual citizenship.

US Passport is very strong one as per as visa free and  arrival on visa for travel, so no issue there.

Your profile says Netherlands, but your post title asks about dual US/Czech Republic citizenship.  As others have said, the US permits dual/multiple citizenship, but some other countries do not.  The Czech Republic has permitted dual citizenship since 2014 - see this page on the Czech consulate website for details.  If you're a Czech citizen, you will not automatically lose Czech citizenship when you (eventually) become a US citizen.  The Netherlands only permits dual citizenship in specific circumstances, and in general Dutch citizenship is automatically lost if you voluntarily take another nationality, but here's one of the examples of exceptions to that rule given in the factsheet on the Dutch government website:

3. The Dutch citizen is a husband, wife or registered partner who voluntarily takes the nationality of the marriage partner. This situation pertains to a Dutch citizen who has a husband, wife or registered partner with that other nationality on the day of taking that nationality.
Example: Rose has Dutch nationality. She is married to Felix who has Brazilian nationality. Rose applies for and is granted Brazilian nationality. Rose remains a Dutch citizen because she is taking the nationality of her husband.

If you're strongly concerned about retaining Dutch citizenship, perhaps when the time comes it would be worth having a one-time consultation with a Dutch attorney before deciding whether to apply for US citizenship.

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".

Indeed, I am a citizen of the Czech republic, but the country of my permanent residence is Netherlands. I have decided to not pursue Dutch citizenship, even if I could get it, because I will be moving away from here.

The Czech passport is not very different, so that was not my concern ;)

There is a post on this forum somewhere about an interview with a USCIS official. According to that post, the US laws do not deal with the concept of dual citizenship. As far as US law is concerned you are a US citizen or you are not. So by not even mentioning it, you are automatically allowed to have another citizenship. It's the main reason why you can't find anything on the subject on official websites.

There does appear to have been a push within the EU to get rid of the whole thing, that was until Brexit became a thing and now they are not sure again. If possible retain your original one (you never know what happens later on in life and it is easier to keep things than to re-acquire them.

But as you stated, you have a long way to go before you get to that point.
