Lo siento, no hablo muy bien el Espanol.

(I am sorry, I do not speak Spanish very well.)

Be sure to look at the validity dates on the EAD card that you receive at POE.

Please, English-only in the main forums, other languages are allowed in the Regional Forums.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I’m wondering if someone else got a letter with their visa in the mail, can you please post it? I’m thinking perhaps the Spanish translation is wrong ?

Finding this hard to believe since everywhere online says you have to apply for EAD

It's possible they have very out of date form letters?

A decent time back they would issue an EAD stamp for K-1 entrants. This is permitted because K-1 visa holders qualify for an EAD valid through their 90 days (it's just impractical to file one nowadays given the > 90 days processing timeline).

This is the reason that I was wondering about the validity dates on the EAD card to be given at POE.

It was not a card but a  stamp on the i94.  Only a few POEs issued them even when it was more practical

YMMV

JFK comes to mind as one POE that was often mentioned.
