What happened with the self-ish post of yesterday? Was it just removed? I was looking for it today and can't find it.

funny how things "magically" disappear when it's convenient

I don't get it. I know the OP wanted it closed, but I don't know why it dissapeared. I PMed Ewok about it. I don't understand why it was removed all together. I think it was a good topic. Maybe we should continue it in a new thread?

Oh- Happy Saturday!

I think so. It eems like most of us have experienced this in some way where our SOs want to visit their family and whether it is financially feasible...

It's also quite hot here in Houston. Besides a trip to the grocery store, I think I'm just going to stay inside and relax with a good book and some iced coffee. I'm all worn out from the office. Also, I think I might look into starting some type of online business/work. It sure would be nice not to be chained to a 9-5 and have more time for family, plus the flexibility to travel when you want....Sweet!

Pay a visit to Champion Computers there in Houston. I have no clue where it is exactly but thats where my husband works and I'm sure he'd enjoy meeting new ppl.

As soon as my house sells, I'll be on my way there. I'm still looking forward to a VJ family luncheon or something!

I agree. There was a couple of threads locked and then they disappeared too. I guess so since one talked about the husband of a VJer not being happy and moving on.

it all depends on the request of the OP and TOS.
