we had tropical storm barry move through all last night and into this morning. for some reasons it didnt have the "normal" storm sounds, and throughout the night I woke up. back to researching the budget for our house "flip"! thanks for all your carpet tips J!

I don't get it. I know the OP wanted it closed, but I don't know why it dissapeared. I PMed Ewok about it. I don't understand why it was removed all together. I think it was a good topic. Maybe we should continue it in a new thread?

It's also quite hot here in Houston. Besides a trip to the grocery store, I think I'm just going to stay inside and relax with a good book and some iced coffee. I'm all worn out from the office. Also, I think I might look into starting some type of online business/work. It sure would be nice not to be chained to a 9-5 and have more time for family, plus the flexibility to travel when you want....Sweet!

thats what i need to do! i keep watching episodes of "house hunters international" and it shows all these people working from their laptops all over the world. i want to be them too! if you don't mind, let me know what you find out.

Pay a visit to Champion Computers there in Houston. I have no clue where it is exactly but thats where my husband works and I'm sure he'd enjoy meeting new ppl.

As soon as my house sells, I'll be on my way there. I'm still looking forward to a VJ family luncheon or something!

If threads aren't just closed, but also removed, it makes it harder to keep track for the "VJ Locked Thread Champs" board record. I'm missing a lot by not posting much anymore.
