Hi all!

Just to let you know for your sake, we didn't receive an NOA2 in the mail, haven't had a change on the website since our last touch which occurred May 8th, but today when the mail came, we received his packet from the embassy in London. So, this means without us even knowing, we were approved, the packet left CSC, went to NVC, and then on to London.

They sent all the medical interview stuff and forms, so I just wanted to let everyone know, I was manically checking the website every other hour, which hasn't even been properly updated. Still says "received and pending" even now! I just don't think they are updating the site appropriately.

Hope everyone hears about their case soon, if you already have, congrats as well!

Congrats!! You guys must be so psyched!

No they are not - at least not with me either. I realize it's the government we're dealing with here but I personally find it absurd that they can't update the website for the fees paid. Generally, I've found the overall level of competence rather wanting. And they want to more than double the fee?! :thumbs:

No notification has been the case for a few people. We were also touched around the same time you were. We called a week latter to find out that we had been approved and that the case was being sent to the NVC. Its now been in Jakarta since last week.

Yup, familiar story. It appears to be the exception rather than the rule now if a case status is updated at the website. I found out ours had been approved by calling NVC 2 weeks after it was approved. Details are in my sig.

You might still get an NOA2 in the mail. Ours came 2 days ago, and our I-129F was approved at about the same time that yours was.

Congratulations, BTW. May the rest of your visa journey go smoothly. :)

Hi guys,

I have Question, what is the number for Customer service @ USCIS to talk to a person and not listen to automated status. Well am going through kinda same situation, i filled i-130 on Feb 26 and got NOA1 in 2 days with reciept date of Feb28.Then on May 29 they transfered the case to CSC from VSC and sent a Transfer Notice the same day. After that got touched on June 6 and nothing after that. according to timeline i should be getting NOA2 by the end of June like Jun 26. Just feeling furstrated with the whole wait and not hear anything.

thanks. :wacko::unsure:

K-3 has different processing times than K-1 visas do. What worked for K-1 filers may not quite apply to you. Just hang in there, you should find something out soon. Being that your fiancee is from Pakistan, its possible that petition processing may take a bit longer than most others.
