Hello -

Can anyone give an overview of what occurs within CEAC once a K-1 was been "approved" at the Interview? In our case (China), we were able to see the status in CEAC under "Immigrant Visas" by using the Case ID. This stated "Administrative Processing" with an "updated" date of the interview date. Currently, CEAC does not return any results any "Immigrant Visa" when searching used the Case ID, rather CEAC now shows "Application Received" under "Non-Immigrant Visa" when searching using the DS160 Confirmation No.

My understanding is that the visa transfers from IV to NIV upon approval and prior to issuance. I had thought though that CEAC would still show status under both IV and NIV, rather than NIV only. Any others with similar experiences or general information on the various process through CEAC statuses post-interview?

Thanks!
