I am a  bit concerned as USCIS mailed a biometrics notice for citizenship to our old out of state address (which was eventually rerouted by the post office to our new address).  The rerouting took extra time and our appointment date (in our old state) was only two days after receipt.  Obviously we could not make this appointment.  So I priority mailed a reschedule request , along with a USCIS confirmation of the change of address and a letter explaining our move.  Still not have heard anything as yet.  Do they take awhile for the new office to respond?

Form AR-11 is a change of address form that must be filed by immigrants within 10 days of moving to a new address. The form takes about 5 minutes to complete. Even if the move is from one temporary address to another, you must file the form with USCIS right away.

Did you file AR-11?  or you can change online
