Adding a baby at the embassy stage

Hi, I am currently waiting for an interview date which is expected to be in October or November. However, my wife and I are expecting a baby which is due by December. I want to ask if it is possible to add the baby if she delivers before the exit interview date. In addition, I will still like to know if after the interview, the baby is delivered, how will the baby travel with us. Thanks. Visa class is EB3 green card
