hi everyone

my i129f been approve and i update our email address. my case was approve june 27.

i have read alot of pdf files and conversation. i want to know whats the steps i should take while waiting for the nvc #?  i have apply for police record, non impediment, take 6 pics, print pics and conversation for ongoing relationship and i have some more to print,my fiance ask for a job letter already,w2, tax papers. is there anything else i need to get? and when should i start filling out ds160 form and when to the payment ect.

You can't fill out any applications or pay any fees until you get the new case number from nvc

Here is a place to go and learn what you can do while waiting. Read the pdf file on the first page first post.

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Everything that you mentioned above (gathering documents, non-imped, etc.) is what you should be doing right now. We waited until our status changed to ready on the website before doing the DS160 and paying fees(JA Embassy), although I've read that some ppl go ahead and complete the DS160 once they received the case #.

did you wait on the p3 before paying the fees, or you just wait till it says ready

No we did not wait for the P3 because some people never receive it. We paid the fee when the status changed to ready.

did you get a letter from nvc to bring with you to the interview and how long did it take to get after your case # was given to you

No, I don't recall receiving  a letter from NVC. The letter that you take to the interview is the one you print after you schedule the interview (it should state on the letter "bring this to the interview") I think maybe it was the confirmation page that states the date and time of your interview.

Ok thanks you,I set the appointment,I just need to print off the appointment letter and already print the d's 160 confirmation page
