When she apply for police reports does she need the embassy code off the Ds-160 ?

No. They do not care why she needs them. Just make sure she gets full complete version of them, I believe there are two. I believe they should be free but they take a few days to cook. Hopefully will be done before 29 July.

I went to site it said immigrant and non

K-1s are handled by the immigrant visa unit at embassies/consulates because they're immigrant-intent visas.

So from the time your petition gets to the NVC until shortly before your fiancé(e)'s visa issued, it's treated like an immigrant visa even though it's not.

It is safest to wait until 23 July, but appointments can be cancelled and rescheduled. Depends on how much hurry you are in.

Ask @TastyCake

Sorry, still in Ukraine.  Haven't had much time to read up lately.  We fly Thursday.

Doing the medical exam and interview in the same trip will work if there is at least one day between the exam and the interview.  To be safe, I would allow for 2 or 3 days between them.

Rusk, go to Google and type in something like 'U.S. embassy Kiev interview checklist'.  One of the things that comes back in the Google search is a direct link to the embassy checklist which I found extremely helpful.

Use that list! Make sure you have all things before the interview!  We were out by 9.  Mostly waiting.  Only a few questions.  We had all documents, relationship proof ad nauseum.  It was a smooth experience.  We were really happy.

TAKE YOUR TIME!  YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!

NVC will review your case after issuing you your case number to ensure all required documents have been received from USCIS. Once reviewed, which typically takes two weeks, they will send it out to the Embassy. You can track the progress via CEAC website.

Thanks.  There's no way I could have done this without all of your help.  🙂

Per the embassy instructions,  documents in English,  Russian or Ukrainian are accepted.   All others require translation into English

YMMV

They told her 30 days to get police report ! Oh well ! I told her to check back in 14 days !

Did she order it online? It will not be 30 days. But yes, she should've hassled with it earlier. Does she have I-134 + tax transcripts from you?
