i-864 3 years of tax return info

Hello,

With form i-864 I know my wife only needs to submit accompanying tax returns for last year, 2017 and 2016 are optional,

But, do I need to put tax return info for 2017 and 2016 in boxes 24b and 24c even if I am not attaching the accompanying tax returns? If not required I would rather leave blank as one year her earnings were below the threshold.

Thanks in advance,

Adam

Welcome to the forum.

Is this question being asked as a result of AOS preparation? Can't tell where you are in the visa process, your timeline is vacant.... :time:

Here is the VJ example for the Form I-864, what is the line number?

Many folks avoid the tax return paper shuffle and instead submit the complimentary IRS-supplied tax return transcripts: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

YMMV

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Yes, you still have to provide the numbers of the last 3 years, regardless if you send all the tax returns / transcripts or only the most recent one.

Hi,

Yes; I am now at Adjustment of Status stage.

For me it is part 6 question 24b and 24c. My form doesn't match the example you sent.

Thanks,

Adam
