Adjust Status after honeymoon

Hello,

We are in the process- K1 visa - with my fiancée. (noa2 approved few days ago)

One question :
I can't find any answer about the Adjust Status

Do we have to send the Adjust Status (I-485) right after the weeding, or
can we go to honeymoon, come back in USA (as a tourist for me) and send the I-485 and I-765 ?

It's not clear for me if the Adjust of Status is better right after the weeding (so not possible to leave the US before to receive the travel authorization), or if we can do it when we come back from honeymoon.

Someone can help ?

Thank you in advance

Highly recommended to file before the 90 days expiration after entry

If you leave the USA before getting advanced parole your fiancee will not be allowed back in as it is not possible to come back as a tourist

Thank you for your Answer !!
We will follow your recommandation !!

we got our NOA2 in less than 3 months, so we have to re-organize our plan now :D (quicker than expected !!)

If you want to honeymoon abroad due it before you arrive on the k1

YMMV

I think we will be on the safe side and do not take any risk (even with puerto rico or hawaii, etc)

Hawaii is not a risk; you cannot be diverted to a non-US airport when traveling between Hawaii and the mainland US, and you are not considered to be in "international waters" when flying over them in an airplane.
