Hello buddies 

I wanted to create this topic on I-751 (petition to remove condition on residence) for New York filer. A lots of people getting MSC receipt number which is believed to end up with an interview in the local office, but there’s no specific processing time for New York field office, please feel free share your processing experience here

Ring...you might need to be more specific about your request.  Are you talking about the New York CITY (Manhattan) field office, or about the STATE of New York, which has several field offices?  What happens in NYC is often very different than what happens in other New York field offices.  Our office is Albany, and I know we processed a lot more quickly than the Brooklyn office.

 

Can you please elaborate on your request?

Oh I’m sorry for the confusion, I didn’t know there are several field office in same state, to be specific I’m talking about NYC. Btw are you already approve with your petition?

Ring, we are all the way through citizenship at this point.  ROC took 12 months with no RFEs and no interview.  So our file was not sent to the local office at all.  We applied in July 2016 and got the 10-year card in July 2017.

02/28/19 case received by USCIS. 

03/28/19 Biometric appointment. 

05/08/19 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

It seems you’re waiting for your interview  almost 4 months, my case became ready to be scheduled for an interview in October. I submitted In June. In which  borough you live ? I’m from Brooklyn the slowest one

That's right , I'm waiting for the interview since May, I'm from Bronx, have you any idea about the waiting time ?

Not really, I see people from Long Island are getting interviews, but didn’t see any NYC or Brooklyn filer  Got one

I filed in August of this year and already done my biometrics last month. My service center is Vermont. How about you?

I’m June filer, my status says ‘case ready to be scheduled for an interview’

My status right now says "all fingerprints were taken and case is in process". Did you have this status also after you finished your biometrics? Is your service center also Vermont?

No I’m in national benefit center, are you a cr1?
