My daughter graduated elementary school 3 hours ago. yes i cried :D shes grown up and moving onto middle school. and next is high school. :( sigh!! i will post pics when i get them back.

Im so proud of her!! :luv:

Awww congratulations to your daughter! We had a formal tea here at our school for our grade 5 students. Hope she has a great summer and a successful year at middle school. :)

hahahaa Karen we tried to have a formal meal before leaving the school but the kids wouldnt sit down!! :lol: it was a mess :) me and shonnas lil boyfriends mom were saying " yea good luck trying to get these kids to stay still for 2 seconds"

Then we got to take our kids home at 9:30, so me and shonna and noah and his mom were going to leave, noah and his mom went first and me and shonna tried to go out the side door and told i could go but shonna HAD to stay until 9:30. so i left her and went towards the office to check her out, on the way there noah and his mom were going back towards the cafeteria, and his mom was " WE ALMOST MADE IT OUT AND THEY YELLED AT US!!" they were so ####### about letting us have our kids. :lol: and at 9:30 on the dot they let us all escape :)

Next week my younger son graduates Elementary too and my older son graudates Middle School....so one off to High School and the other into Middle School :(

I am so sad to say goodbye to the Elementary school that my boys have been in for all this time......it's a sad passage.....

It is sad. They spent 5 years of their lives there. sigh....i loved that school. Good thing i have another one going there in 3 years :D

There was a funny part tho :)

As shonna came down the stairs from the stage shes so happy and walking towards me to go back to her seat, she tripped over her show and almost fell right on her #######. :lol: She caught herself thankfully tho. she knows i laughed, she laughed. when we got home she stated " im not graceful and im not ashamed of it" :lol::lol:

awwwwwww...congrats to her, Tara. I'm right with you...I'm sure I'll cry too. My "baby" will have his 8th grade graduation (that's the only year they do it for here other than the normal H.S. grad) on June 5...which is also his bday. I'm sure I'm gonna bawl. :lol: I can't believe he's 14...and will be a freshman next year. Was looking at some of his baby pics last night...again. hehehe...and I know it's SUCH a cliche, but I was all...where did the time gooooooooooo? *sniff* ;):) M.

Oh man, Can I join the club,....My twin 13 yr old girls graduate Grade 8, on June 7, and will also be Freshmen, later this year,...*big Sigh*. Their 14th birthday is in July,....during summer break. They get to go on a summer camp to an island up in the North sea a place called Langeoog, so that should be fun,.....

The timeline... (Frankfurt) for the kids visas

10/22/2007 Filed I-130 x 2 in person + paid 710 USD (355 each )

10/22/2007 Filed DS-230 part 1 x 2

10/22/2007 Received the document checklist and FRN (case) numbers

12/18/2007 I-130 petition approved, but I didn't know. I was away at the time, didn't get confirmation letters til I got back from the states.

12/20/2007 Notice of Approval arrives in tha mail. According to the date received stamp on back of envelope at my post box.

Will now wait til hubby is back from Iraq to fax in checklist readiness, even though, I have been ready since day of lodging I-130's. all except medical.

02/18/2008 Faxed the "checklist" back to the consulate.

02/25/2008 Medicals completed.

02/25/2008 Appt letters in mail for appt on March 7th. Cant go due to prior military commitments. Emailed consulate and received an amended appt date of March 12th 2008.

03/12/2008 Visa interview - APPROVED x 2

03/27/2008 Visa's finally generated. I emailed the consulate. they apologised for the delay. They forgot to issue the visas after approval.

03/31/2008 Received visas

04/26/2008 Flying out of Frankfurt to next duty station on orders.
