@N400NYC lol you know the feelings. I have checked over a million times.

I was convinced it wasn't arriving....that there was a glitch....lol!

Then I got this bizarre "there has been an action on your case and it needs your attention" (USCIS notification) and I read somewhere else that in some cases the letter arrives a few hours after that....and that's what happened.

But I have never received that notification for other notices/letters (e.g. the interview).

It's a bit confusing how there are 2 systems in play - the egov one and the myuscis one....

Now you are going to make me check both myaccount and egov simultaneously 😂😂. In your experience which account updates first.

By the way so happy for you after you posted that no show thread i was pissed but now all is good.

Egov always updates first! I receive notifications from egov and for all of the updates in my case, myuscis have been slower to reflect the change.

Yes, thankfully it worked out! :)

I would take the originals of what your provided initially in your N400 application. Also USC spouse is not required at the interview but good for moral support.

But they can't come with you (to the actual office) have to stay in the waiting area in LA at least so unless you feel like it'll be really helpful for you to have them there I wouldn't bother taking the spouse with and have them take a day off. We can just take a day off afterwards and actually enjoy it celebrating together :D

Had my interview today in Las Vegas.

apt scheduled for 10:50am, got there around 10:30am. Sat and waited until I was called back.

I had to read in English the sentence “what do we pay to the government”.

I had to write on the iPad “ we pay taxes to the government”

I was asked 6 questions got all 6 correct

1) Why do some states have more representatives than others states ?

2)Name two national us holidays ?

3) What are the two major political parties in the us?

4) What did Martin luther king do ?

5) Name one state that borders Canada ?

6) During the Cold War what was the main concern of the United States?

We then went through and verified all my information on the application.

Then under oath you have to answer a lot of questions

example have you ever been part of a terrorist organization, served in the military , bribed a government official, worked in law enforcement, etc

then he said I passed and he was recommending me for approval :)

I am stuck with Interview Scheduled. My interview was on February 10th. I was recommended for approval as well. The Level2 curstomer rep. says it doesn't mean anything unusual just the Supervisor taking his/her time.

I had mine on 02/10, recommended for approval. Mine was a combo interview for ROC/N-400. I received an approval letter for the ROC which said that I would not be receiving my a green card since their record indicated that my N-400 was approved. My status is still "You've attended your interview".

by any chance, did you have a name change? I did and I think that slows things down a bit.

I told the lady that I was moving in about 2 weeks and she said I should change my address once I move. No name change at all.

What would happen if I moved from the Bronx to a county outside of NYC e.g. Orange or Dutchess before my scheduled interview or between interview and oath?

Getting mail at my old address would not be a problem. Do I need to notify USCIS, if I did, would I experience delays in oath scheduling?

Is there any chance you can just stay at your current address until interview/oath are over? Things get so complicated with USCIS that keeping things as simple as possible from your end is preferable.
