At my Oath Ceremony we were only given an application for a U.S passport.  We were not given the opportunity to actually apply for one.  I was hopeful that I would of been able to apply the same day.  I even brought passport pictures incase I was going to be able to apply.   

 

I hope you will have the ability to apply for one at your Oath Ceremony!

Hey, Chicago Office right?

We were told during our ceremony that only people who had made an appointment ahead of time will be able to apply for a passport that day. So I recommend that you look up to make an appointment for your oath day if you want to apply the same day. I would recommend that if you request an appointment that it is at about 11:30 or later because my oath ceremony I was there from 8:30 to 11 am

Thanks for letting me know. That prompt me to search and I found out that those are usually for people who have travel plans soon. And they have to pay extra $60. I can wait. Lol
