Ever Since the interview schedule status change happened in my profile, i never received any email or text alerts from USCIS.

This makes to check the status every day couple of times. Anyone else facing the same situation. Also any idea on what basis they schedule the OATH ceremony. Some people who got the approval after me were getting scheduled before me.

I haven’t been getting any updates since biometric. I found out about interview Thru physical mail. Interview scheduled for 2/7.

can you please share ur interview experience.

Attended my interview this afternoon  -  appointment was at 12:30 , I checked in at 11:55 AM . Waited  for over 30 minutes before my number was called out , I went to the window, the lady took  my picture and had the 2 index fingerprinted.  She then asked me to confirm DOB, Social , full name , dates of travel .  I was told to go back to the waiting area to wait for the actual test. I waited a few more minutes , got called.

The officer  had me take the Oath - and then asked me the following questions

1- What is an amendment . I replied " an update to the constitution" . He said that's not the exact word but he will take it regardless because an update can be  a "change" or an "addition".

2- what stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful

3-  What is the highest  court in the United States

4- there were 13 original states. name 3 ( I said N.H , MA and RI )

5- Name one of the two longest river

6- what is one right or freedom from the first amendment

Then I read : What do we pay to the  government

I had to write : We pay taxes

Officer told me I passed the test but had to wait to meet another officer to review my file with me. So I went back again to the waiting area - after a few minutes they called my number and an officer took me in the back  of his office. he asked me the yes and no questions  - asked me if I'm currently paying alimony to my ex husband , no question on why I got divorced .   Then that was it  :)  he gave me the paper  with  the congratulations your case has been recommended for approval checked in . He said I should get a letter for the oath ceremony this week (  but don't quote him on it).  I checked my case status online, the old site says " We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number XXXXXXXXX, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony"

The new site myuscis hasn't been updated yet.

Thanks All - good luck to everyone.

Hey my folks its been a lot going on.  How long does the oath letter come take to come in as soon as notification is received?

From my experience and from what I have seen it varies drastically based on location. For me it took about 7 weeks to get the letter. I have seen some get it as quick as a week.  I started to get concerned when mine went over the 30 days they tell you it can take to get the letter.  As far as the letter coming after the notification online.  Mine took about 4-5 days but I did get the notification on a Friday afternoon so I had to wait over the weekend.

Mine eventually synced up.  My.uscis website says “We scheduled your naturalization ceremony” and the egov says “Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed” as far as how long this took to happen I can’t remember. Hopefully someone else will have the answer.

Got a notification that my oath has been scheduled.  letter hasn't appeared yet ! will keep looking.😀

in-line for oath ceremony and oath scheduled are  not the same right?

I understand that if you are in-line you can call the customer service number and an L2 officer can assist with a date. is that correct?

i just called and was told the local office has to have a certain number of approved applicants before they can schedule an oath ceremony.

That is so weird and the first time i am hearing that. Is that true? I thought the usual excuse was there were too many people more than the space they have

Not the same. my Status was changed to  in line for oath ceremony yesterday morning.  This morning i got a new notification saying that it has been scheduled and they send me a letter with the date.  I am not sure about the calling customer service part  :(

My oath ceremony has been scheduled on 12/31. It’ll take place next week, on January 14th. The end of the journey is near :)

How did your oath ceremony go yesterday? How long does it typically take?

after swearing in do you get called by name for the certificate?
