I am in Chicago as well. I just checked my status and saw my interview has been scheduled since 10/30. I am going to France for the holidays on 12/19 and got super nervous the interview would be scheduled during my vacation. Thankfully, it’ll be on 12/10. When is yours? I didn’t receive any updates by email. Thank you for mentioning your interview here. I may have missed mine otherwise. I wasn’t expecting anything until spring of 2020 (original estimated completion time was May 2020).

And unlike the biometrics appointment, the interview will be much closer, in the loop.

Congratulations! In general I will say the case estimated timelines by USCIS on online profiles has been pretty consistent.

If you look at our spreadsheet only 2 or 3 people currently have been 1-3 months early and it looks like you and other Chicago office filers are on the same path

Congratulations! I will recommend you set up notifications so you don't miss out on anything, or you can double check your spam to be sure the govt domain is not been sent there

Best of luck. Don't forget to update the spreadsheet, your row looks kinda scanty right now

We are the December crew it will be a jolly Christmas

I will be "on my own" and the whole family will be with me in spirit

I am pretty confident it will end well

Yes that's right. It will be you and the officer having fun through it all

You might need to double check your interview date it says 10/11 lol except USCIS has backdated your interview and approved you in absentia

They can be that generous when they want to

Mine was also schedules on the 10/30 and it is also for the 12/10! I didn't get any emails or text so I just checked because I hadn't checked in a long time. I'm glad I did. Today the letter was in the mail when I picked it up.

Hello group! My interview is scheduled for 11/14 at the Atlanta field office. The interview notice reads that I should bring:

"

•This letter.
•Your Alien Registration Card ("green card").
•Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.
•Your passport and/or any other documents you used in connection with any entries into the United States.

If copies of a document were submitted as evidence with your N400 application, the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview.

"

I see in forums that people carry income tax documents, petitions from the past etc.

I'm wondering if I should carry those documents.

My green card is employment-based. Can somebody please comment based on their experience?

Thanks!

Yesterday received an email from USCIS stating that my appointment was cancelled because they didn't receive my file yet. Was advised (by USCIS) that once they receive my file they will reschedule my appointment. 😭😭😭😭. So disappointed. Anyone in the same situation???

What appointment and file? Why are they requesting such file before "appointment"?

Give us a little background so we can assist better
