I may have posted incorrectly before. My wife received a notice to appear at our local office for an appoitment for both I-485 and I-765. The letter was titled ASC appointment notice. Will she recive her EAD card during this appointment? The notice also states that the USCIS must capture herr biometrics to process her application. I am just hoping she will get the EAD at this time.

It depends on the office. I received my card ten minutes after having my picture and fingerprint taken. But then again, that was before the Chicago lockbox process came into effect for my state, so things may have changed.

So, your wife will be getting both her AOS biometrics and EAD photo/fingerprint done during the same appointment, this is good. Even if you do have to wait for the EAD card, it won't be too long after that. :)

The same thing happened for my wife. Her EAD card arrived in the mail about 5 days after the biometrics appointment.
