Hi,

I am filing I-130A, i am in USA and my spouse is in India. I am filling the form here and have some questions.

(1) Part 3. Information abut your Employment outside the unites states. It says "If you never worked outside the Unites States, provide this information in the space provided in part 7". My question is what to provide in the Part 7 when she never worked in her entire life?

image.png.51deccbc878810a79cf3780bdff90c79.png

I bet this is the typo in the form. No need to do anything in Part 7.

(2) Should i leave this blank as she is overseas?

image.png.d442ed18069d956dbf655e55d9535b8e.png

Yes, leave blank.

On 6/30/2019 at 11:59 AM, sonicview said:

(3) Should i leave part 5 blank or write N/A for all fields.

And as I am filling this form for my beneficiary should i fill Part 6 and put my name? I am petitioner who filled I-130 too, so leave Part 6  blank too or fill my name?

image.png.75b7c104ea5337dcb8fad4caedb6341c.png

I’d write N/A on the first field of Part 5 and leave others blank.

No harm in providing your info in Part 6.

Simplifying the process would be OP fill in i130A and check 7.a  under Part 6.

My wife completed the I-130A two weeks ago. It's important that the intending immigrant be fully immersed in the entire process. Ultimately they know the answers to the questions poised on this form. As the spouse, it was my job to view before submission.

Skip these, they carry little to zero weight in the overall evaluation of a file.  In addition to the other items on your list, focus on evidence of time spent together in-person, that is your strongest evidence.

I stayed with her for a week in India after marriage, at my parents house, and then I came back here. As per all senior members advice I am filling never lived together in the question where they are asking where we lived together, as I visited India and didn’t live there. So what should I show as evidence of time spend together. I have photographs for us visiting places together. Is the good.

Photographs are a start.  You have your boarding pass from your flight there?  How about entry stamps on your passport?  Those are evidence of actual travel.  Do you have any receipts from any activities you did together while you were there?  These are only a few examples, you if don't have such items, then you don't and there would be no point in stressing over it.

I am sending the application package. As per the instructions I am putting check first then cover letter then 130 and 131 form and then all attachments.

Cover letter explain the case and things attached.

I am including colored photocopy of documents for marriage bonafide proof.

My questions are ....

(1) I have photocopy of passport, there are 14 pages, should I staple it or just put a paper clip?

(2) should I write on bottom of each page of photo copy of passport  as...

“Copy”

page 1 of 14 and so on?

(3) is it ok to staple each group of evidence or just put paper clip for USCIS convenience?

(4) Is that ok  if I don’t punch hole on entire application and attachments?

“Thank you”

It says write page number on bottom of all attachments, I have 30 pages all together,  and photos. Should I write page x of 30 or I should have page x of 14  for passport and page x of 4 for affidavits?

it says use faster or heavy clips. So it means one clip for passport copy, 1 clip for forms,  etc. or it really doesn’t matter? I am thinking to insert an extra page before each type of document explaining what is coming next, is that ok to do that?

Is it ok to not punch Two-hole at the top of the material ?
