I made an inquiry two weeks ago about not receiving a response about my RFE (case online still says ‘RFE was sent’) and got a letter yesterday with an answer.
it said: we can give you more information about your case. Is still being processed. Keep waiting patiently.
So basically the inquiry didn’t really help at all. It felt like they are laughing at my face.
We talked to a lawyer friend and he said that it can take up to 90 days for some RFE to get processed (I can’t think what is the difficulty with my birth certificate)

In two weeks we will hit the 90 days. I guess we will do another inquiry. If we don’t have any answer he recommend us to reach congress people. My husband started already some letters.
Can I hope for Xmas miracle? I don’t really know.

Sorry about that, maybe you should make inquiry about EAD/AP that might be fruitful and no harm in trying

We called three times asking if the process for the whole thing AOS EAD AP is still in hold and we got different answers each time which is innnnnnnsane.
we can make inquiry about EAD and AP when they are out of processing time. Which will be in January.

Manchester, NH field office. Our officer was thorough, kind and humane. We were interviewed separately - Petitioner first, beneficiary next. When I (Petitioner) was asked to join my spouse, we were told of the approval of our application. The whole interview lasted 30mins.

The officer went through the following:

- our history - starting with our I-129 application

- about my first marriage (I was asked to provide my first marriage certificate, which I didn't have) + divorce papers

- beneficiary's relationship with Petitioner's family

- nickname for each other

Submitted the following documents:

- joint bank account

- medical insurance

- life insurance

- lease agreement

- HSA cards showing beneficiary name

- credit card showing beneficiary as additional user

When we got home, checked our status online and it said card is being produced. Goodluck to everyone else waiting! Happy Holidays to everyone celebrating!

Hey guys, I am a september filer and have my case ready to be scheduled for the interview.

It may take a few more weeks or even a couple months, but what i am now focusing on is if I need to re-do my medical in the US (after doing it in my country a few months ago).

Some people get RFEs, some get courtesy letters about it, and my question is, are there also people who have not re-done it and were successfully approved for the green card?

In the i693 instructions (screenshot below) it says that it my case i dont need to re-do medical and send i693, thats why i only included my ds3025 while sending AOS packet. And my plan is to just go to the interview without another medical, unless i am asked for it.

Is there anybody here who's only medical was in their country and who did not include i693 in their packet (only ds3025) and was approved?

We are and it happened to us. If you need I-693 I suggest you do it now and don’t wait till IO tells you. Matter of fact I just dropped a sealed envelope i-693.
