Unless there is information you didn't provide that would prevent it, you should be able just to go to the local dmv to renew a state id.

the bank said the ID cant be expired I put a call into the DMV this morning and they said I would have to come in for them to call the state

Just received EAD/AP combo card upon expedition request under severe financial loss category. It’s actually easier than I thought to expedite your process upon a job offer.

I called USCIS hotline to submit my expedition request for EAD card because I got an offer. After 3 days, they sent me an email to request additional information. And it took no more than a week for them to approve my request after I faxed the supporting documents (cover letter, email from USCIS to request additional info, offer letter). Combo card arrived after 3 days.

Nice! Good for you

Unfortunately for me, our dates are pretty similar and I also faxed expedite info more than a week ago and have heard nothing since (we also got our congress office involved). We also don't have a date for interview either which is pretty frustrating.

If you go to the DMV they should be able to renew the state ID so it isn't expired anymore. Just bring the required paperwork to renew his ID. If you have a wells fargo near you, they accept a passport for ID. That is who we used to open a joint account because we couldn't get a state ID where we are at. Wells fargo was very easy.

Our biometric was August 8, and no change until today. We were quite worried, and called USCIS this morning. She quoted me the "12-24 months" for family-based adjustment. Then lo-and-behold, we got the letter today that our interview is scheduled for Dec. 12. Thank God! And the website updated today also.

Just checked the site today and saw that our "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" ... so, still in the waiting game but at least we're on to the next phase of the waiting game! Our field office will be Sacramento which I think has long processing times.

Mine changed recently to the same status as well, and my field office is also Sacramento.  I am not expecting any interview before spring time at the earliest.

had my interview Nov 7th. was pretty easy and the officer told me i would receive my greencard within 7-10 days and that i get one for 2 years and when to file for remove of conditions.

my online status didn’t change at all yet. should i be worried? i thought it would show “approved” or “new card being produced”...?

Our case is now ready to be scheduled for an interview. Finally. It was accepted on October 31. I wonder how long before we receive the official notice.

It can be months, depending on how busy your local office is.

If the website has updated, you should get the letter fairly quickly, i had my official letter within a week after it updated, others have reported the same, however, your interview could be months out.

I believe in this case the status has just changed to "Ready to be scheduled for interview" instead of Interview Scheduled, so it can still take a long time to get to the interview, depending on how busy the local field office is.
