I received an RFE on September 12th. They received my response a couple days after and my case is still at ‘RFE sent’. There is some case in here that got update to ‘RFE response received’ pretty quick. But that’s not my case.

I called yesterday to USCIS just to check and they told me it can take up to 60 days to update the website. They can’t tell me

anything before those 60 days.

Here I am still waiting.

mine changed to RFE response received on the 2nd of Oct.

At this time is kinda pointless to apply for EAD and Travel Permit if they are just going straight to the Green Card. Oh well

NOA on July 9, biometrics on August 8. No change, still "Fingerprints completed." Starting to get discouraged here...

Where yes we are lucky that they are moving fast for the Green Card, however if  you read over other posts that is not always the case, as it was free to apply for the EAD and Travel, i would always recommend people do that anyway, as you never know if something will crop up that will slow down your GC interview etc.

Point taken. Is a case by case scenario.

New Green Card parameters kick in on Tuesday Oct 15, but it's in the courts now. This really sucks.

I tried to open bank account in my name at husbands bank and they won’t do it until I have green card. I have a SSN that I got as soon as we were married on June 13th.   Still wasn’t enough.

Have you tried an online bank such as Ally or Synchrony?   They'll ask for SSN with the application, and they may follow up with a request for your DL (or state ID).    I'm curious if they ask for further documentation if they have those two pieces of information.

Here's a link to what Ally requests in their application.........   https://www.ally.com/resources/pdf/bank/single-joint-application.pdf

How many days after the status changed to “interview scheduled” did you receive the actual letter? Mine changed Oct 3rd no letter yet

It's a hassle, but you can get the info from USCIS.  I called and surprisingly got through to a person in about 5 minutes.   Now that's customer service and they apparently cannot access squat.  So she offered to have a "agent" call me back.    I then went to some prerecorded message that said "the agent will get back to you in 380 minutes"    So yeah, make sure you're close to the phone for the next 7 hours.     The guy did call me back, and was able to provide the time and date for the appointment.   The only other info in the letter is what you need to bring.

OH, and to answer your question.........letter dated 9-25, rec'd on 10-7.   BUT........it was forwarded from our normal Florida address to our temporary address in Illinois

Can someone please help me out? I Recieved RFE letter today stating that my wife’s income is below the federal poverty guideline when that’s not true. I submitted Form I-864, W2 for 2017,2018 she was with me in Australia for 2016 so couldn’t submit that. Along with bank statements and payslips. Am I missing something...?

My wife has zero income, so not sure why they would ding you on that.    But agree you're taking the appropriate action to redo the form and insure it's absolutely complete.   Now my income was sufficient, and I submitted only two tax transcripts (Make sure you log on to the IRS site and print out your tax transcripts rather than submitting copies of your 1040 forms)   Since I'm retired, I also included a bank statement showing I had adequate savings even without an income.

Here's the VJ sample on how to fill out the form.........
