Thank you, I've been told by the SSA on the phone that it's in the manual verification process last week so it seem like it's all set now and wait for 1-2 more weeks and we'll see. Awesome!

That is awesome WaterLeaf...........I checked the SAVE today and got the exact same message......based on the language, seems reasonable that we'll see the SSC in a week or two.

Not sure if its just my computer put did anyone have issues filling out Form I-864? Wont let me type in certain spaces such as current employment information and income? Page 4 and 5. Thanks.

Don't fill out the forms "online".   Download the form, then open it in Adobe.   You'll find it fills out easily there.....and automatically populates some of the fields.

LOL !!   Holy smokes !!!    When I went to FL, I handed them an expired out of state license and BOOM.....new one in 5 minutes.   Was the easiest DMV trip ever.   I figured she'd need her DL, passport and I-94.    That is a lot of documentation.

Info is much appreciated........can you send the link where you found that?     Will they require written or driving exams?   My 89 year old mother with an expired license was, incredibly, not required to take either a written or driving exam.   Maybe that's why car insurance costs a fortune in FL.    😄

Well finally mailed it in...but totally forgot to include a copy of my own birth certificate //sighs loudly

For the I-864?    Passport copy also works, if you had happened to include that.   I like to limit the use of my birth cert or SSN where I can for identity theft prevention.

From I-864 Instruction:

Proof of U.S. citizen or U.S. national status includes a copy of your birth certificate, certificate of naturalization, certificate of citizenship, consular report of birth abroad to U.S. citizen parents, or a copy of the biographic data page of your U.S. passport.

If you are getting AOS thru marriage, you must show your spouse certificate, bring originals and copies

That's because you already passed the first time driver test. There's a test for first time drivers (is about drugs, alcohol, etc) and you may complete this online before going there to take the written and practice test. This information was provided by our lawyer. I can send you her name via PM but you will have to pay for the consultation.

Hard to know but I think must be the same. At the DMV you will get different answers depending on the knowledge of the person. Ask your lawyer about it but I believe this must be very similar.

Thanks, no consult needed.   DMV is quite close to the house, so I'll swing by there when we arrive later this week.

Interestingly, found this site that more closely aligns with my experience.......ID, SSN, and two documents proving address.   I'll update soon with our actual experience.
