I believe you will need a green card to remove the condition on your SSN. because right now it is only valid if you have authorization from DHS

As long the EAD is filled, I don't know how long those thing last and would like to know about that. The green card would be coming like probably by the end of year of 2020, Nashville, TN is slow.

My Husband got his GC! 2 Year Conditional Green Card expires 08/19/2022, Residence since 08/19/2020

NOA as of 4/29/24 - Oath Ceremony scheduled for May 30th in Chattanooga, TN. Rescheduled as of May 2nd, 2024 by USCIS - new date is May 29th.
May 29th - Naturalized! Ta-da!

You can either work with a Green Card or EAD. Most people receive EAD first and start working with that. For us it looks like we will receive the Green Card first which makes EAD irrelevant. We are not in a hurry for her to work. Maybe part time in the right situation...
