The RFE arrived.

They are asking for my Birth Certificate+Translation. We think they lost the one we sent because we have proof we sent it the first time.

It also says what the BC must have and mine has all of it.

Luckily is a easy fix

At least you know someone is working on your case. Good reason to stay positive.

Our said the samething and we had sent the long form that has parent names and DOB. Not sure why we are being asked again. I got the RFE yesterday I made copies of my husband education record that has father's name and his DOB plus his long form birth certificate and mailed it in today with copy of the RFE. We hope this is all they need. Just confused why they asked for it if it is in the packet we sent.

I got my medical for K1 Visa done in November 2018, got married and filed for AOS in June 2019 (NYC Manhattan). Since Manhattan filed office is really slow, the interview will probably be in 2020 or 2021. I had filed a completed DS-3025 with my AOS application, my question is will I need to get another medical done before my interview?

The same happened to me. I had already sent the long form of my BC on July 10th. I made copies again and sent it today too. Hopefully it only means they lost it. My BC has my parents name listed and the seals from the city birth records as they were asking

Yes, seems very odd but we sent more secondary evidence they outlined that has his name, father's name and his DOB the educational record is notarized as well from government. Hope it works. Best of luck to you too.
