When you go to your myuscis account, you'll see the new account tab and click on the Add a paper filed case option. I had to figure that out this morning when I opened the account for the first time since our I-129F approval lol

@Tara & Rohit, Thankyou

Hi! You can try. When I went to my appointment, there were people there that had appointment for later dates. They were told to wait for all appointments to be done and that they might not be able to do it on that date.

So basically people with appointment that day have priority. But it is worth the try! Good luck!

Just went into Application Support Center in Revere, MA. Guy was really rude and said nah can’t do it come back on 11th when I told him repeatedly I won’t be here. Dont know whether to try again next week or just reschedule...

Hey all, I don't see an official statistic for this:

What is the usual duration from completing biometrics to receiving notification of the interview? I assume this varies a lot based on which office, but is the notification typically made closer to the interview, closer to the biometrics, or anywhere in between?

Thanks!

I think is made closer to the interview. Like one month before the interview. The longer wait is between biometrics and interview

You can sit at “ready to schedule interview” for months and months. When you get to “interview scheduled” it seems to be about 4-5 weeks from interview date with an appointment letter showing up about a week after status change.

and it will depend where you reside. Some states moving steady and others much behind. I believe there was a member here that received their GC without an interview.

Just checked my local office and k1 AOS and average timeline 5 moths or so.

So, it's been over 5 weeks since our NOA and no biometric appointment letter yet. Wondering if anyone else has seen that long a delay?

Got sort of an update today via a letter from USCIS. To recap, we're a K-1 AOS.

07/08/19 - AOS Received

07/11/19 - NOA1 Date

since it had been over 30 days, we called in to USCIS to inquire about the biometric letter - we've received nothing, and like I said it has been more than 5 weeks. The officer from USCIS was very kind and helpful and said he'd put in a request to check on the status.

Today we received a letter from USCIS Sacramento office, saying "We researched the status of your case and found that you have not been scheduled for a biometrics yet. Your application is currently pending. You should receive further information regarding your case in the next 60-90 days."

This is frustrating, of course (isn't all the waiting frustrating?), but at least we know our biometrics letter wasn't lost in the mail. We're going on 9 weeks now with no biometrics appointment :( ... hope we get an appointment soon!

I am not surprised, Sacramento office is very busy. Stay positive.

From what I understand, your timeline is still based on your NOA1 so a delayed biometrics appointment shouldn't impact the overall time to approval.  That's something at least!
