On a completely tangent note, how is everybody doing when it comes to adding your spouse to utilities and other bills? So far, I' haven't faced many issues. Just wondering how everyone else is fairing???

Yes at this time this is really all I wanted to hear. From now on I know it's a matter of waiting. From what I've seen here the bio appts have arrived not too long from the noa1s?  Thanks for the positive vibes

Correct bio appt is soon to follow... I know it is hard to patient but just know each day you are closer to the end than the beginning

I havent begun that yet.... Did you add them to your bank accounts?

Had my biometrics appointment today.  San Fernando Office.  Every employee was absolutely wonderful. My appointment was 10am, I got there at 9:30am and was finished at out the door by 10am.  I needed my marriage certificate as a name change document, my appointment letter, and my passport.  Easy and efficient.

Yes. So we had to have two forms of id at our bank. We were able to use his passport and his visa as the id lol SSN wasn't needed

ok good to know... I want to add my husbands to mine but didnt know what we needed..... Although the visa is expired now I will see if they allow us to use his passport and ss card

So we went today to the bio like other members have been reporting it was pretty quick like 10 min we even came early and they took care of us early, at the end I told the lady so wheres is my wife EAD and she is like you have to wait in the mail. Oh really, I said. I was under the impression that I got it in the spot LOL! She said Nice Try!  Hahahhaa

 

So what know? Does the online site should change? Is the I-131 will be attached to this like the famous combo card? Mines was at Jacksonville FL

So far super easy.  My husband added me to utilities before I got here -- no issue at all.  When I got my SSN, we added me to his bank account and credit card (in my maiden name until I get state ID), I'm on the health insurance - just needed MC for that.  We have a shared phone account, but only his name can be on it.  I'm there as an authorized user, but it has to be his account.  That's a T-mobile thing and I don't think there's anything to be done.

What my bank told me is if he has a visa card that could also serve as "id" He had a kind of global cash card from his last job that had his name. The bank manager was good with that too
