I recommend trying to get a certified copy of your marriage certificate before Tuesday.  We ordered 5 so we could send one for AOS and have some on hand as a name change doc and back ups.  (SSO, DMV, biometrics, etc)  A photocopy may not be sufficient.

Hello guys,

I really need some help. We received a I-797C rejection today and they only returned half of the files. They kept the passport photos and the cashier's check. In the initial packet, we sent the i-485, i-30, i-13A, I-864, i-765, and i-131. They've returned the i-130 and i-130A with some documents but kept the other things, the money and the photos.

The rejection notice is not clear on what is missing.

Does the rejection letter has any information?

I would schedule an appointment to clarify the cause.

The list of things they mentioned, we included but said something about the fee and incomplete papers but the online account says everything is OK. How do we make an appointment?

Did you make sure information you provided for I-129f matches your AOS application?

follow this link to schedule your appointment https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment/v2

Boooooo, that office does not accept walk-ins or Info Pass. All of the online notices state differently. I'll call Monday, perhaps I missed a box.

Hi guys,

Here’s my update:

Mailed package - July 23rd vis USPS

Package received - July 25th priority mail

Texts received - July 30th at 11pm

NOA received - Aug 3rd

Correction: this is my Mom’s AOS not mine.

The biometrics appointment letter arrived in the mail Aug 9th - no prior text messages or emails. That was a pleasant surprise to see it in my mail box.

We will try and do a walk-in as the appointment date of Aug 23rd is inconvenient since we’re traveling out of state.

{Day 0}     11/16/2017 N-400 submitted online

{Day 0}     11/16/2017 NOA mailed

{Day 02}   11/18/2017 Biometrics apt scheduled

{Day 20}   12/06/2017 Biometrics done

{Day 202} 06/06/2018 Interview Scheduled
